Mary Brisbane Hollister scrapbook, 1840-1903.

Scrapbook compiled by Hollister, chiefly containing newspaper clippings from the Litchfield Enquirer, The Christian Union, and other papers, chiefly written by Hollister or her husband Gideon Hollister; handwritten verses; pressed algae; and a Haitian monetary note. An inscription "Ms. M.S. Brisbane from her cousin Alex, New York, 30th Oct. 1840" is on the front page, along with a hand sketch of Alex.
